Marcos Acuña is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left winger or left-back for the Spanish La Liga club Sevilla FC and the Argentina national team. He was born on October 28, 1991, in Zapala, Argentina. He began his professional career with the Argentine team Ferro Carril Oeste in 2014 before moving to Racing Club in 2015. He then transferred to Sporting CP in Portugal in 2017, where he won the 2018-19 Taça de Portugal. In August 2020, he signed with Sevilla FC for a reported fee of €10 million. He has represented the Argentina national team since 2017, participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 Copa America, where Argentina finished as the runners-up.
